I am an alumnus of Central Michigan University (class of 1976), Upon graduation I accepted a job with Central Michigan University Libraries and worked there in various capacities for the next 30 years. In September of 2007 I “retired” to start up my long time dream of working in the animal care industry, starting my pet sitting business Mt. Pleasant Pet Services.

I have been a pet owner all my life and have grown up with assorted types of pets including cats, dogs, horses, birds and fish. I have a love and respect for all animals that grows with each year. That being said, though we respect and care about snakes they are not on our list of pets we care for. For the past 30 years I have owned multiple dogs and cats and so have experience in caring for several pets at once. I have owned horses for more than 35 years.

I am a member of Pet Sitters International; Professional United Pet Sitters; HATS (Humane Animal Treatment Society); ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals); HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) and certified by NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) and I am fully insured by PSA (Pet Sitters Associates).

All of this and a sincere love of animals provide me with the best experience in caring for your beloved pets and giving them the extra special personal touch you desire. I will provide love, care, respect and companionship for your pets and home according to the guidelines you set out. I will customize my services to meet the needs of you and your pets.
